JustinTime Baseball Rules & Guidelines
These expectations are in place to ensure safety, professionalism, and a top-tier experience for every family we serve.
β 1. Background Check
All coaches must consent to a background check prior to employment.
π¬ 2. Professional Conduct
Coaches are expected to maintain professional, respectful communication with clients, students, and staff at all times.
π 3. Uniform Requirement
Coaches will receive official JustinTime Baseball gear (shirt, sweatshirt, cap).
Branded attire must be worn at every session.
β±οΈ 4. Session Preparation
Arrive at least 15 minutes early to set up equipment and prepare for the session.
π¨βπ§ 5. Student Dismissal
Coaches must stay until all students are picked up by an authorized adult. No exceptions.
π΅ 6. Phone Usage
Personal phone use during sessions is strictly limited to emergencies.
π« 7. Outside Services & Communication
- Do not offer or engage in private coaching, childcare, or other paid services with JustinTime families without written permission from Justin Sherman.
- All parent communication (texts, calls, emails) must be shared with or forwarded to Justin.
π 8. Boundaries with Students & Families
Absolutely no communication with students or families outside of official sessions.
This includes:
- π± Texting or calling
- π§ Emailing
- π€³ Connecting on social media
π 9. Absence & Coverage
If you canβt attend a session:
- Secure your own coverage
- Notify operations ASAP
βοΈ 10. Conflict of Interest
Working for competing baseball programs (leagues, rec centers, etc.) requires written approval from Justin Sherman.
π 11. Professional Development
Each coach must complete a minimum of 4 hours of professional development every season.
