Upperclassmen Curriculum (Ages 10–12)
Sharpening Skills, Strategy, and Game IQ
At this stage, players are transitioning from fundamental learning to applying strategy and executing more complex plays. The Upperclassmen program focuses on high-level skill development, team communication, and situational awareness — all while building confidence, consistency, and sportsmanship.

- Emphasizing momentum with shuffle, throw, and follow technique
- Teaching pitchers to cover first base on ground balls to the right side
⚾ Hitting Consistency & Drill Work
We emphasize repetition, muscle memory, and timing to develop reliable hitters:
- Frequent repetitions to build consistency
- Structured drill work, including:
- Tee drills
- Soft toss
- Short toss
- Stick-ball and lob toss
- One-arm isolation drills
- Introduction to bunting techniques
- Developing a sense of timing and pitch recognition
📍 Team Fundamentals & Situational Defense
Team play and communication take center stage as players learn to operate as a unit:

- Understanding basic first-and-third defensive situations
- Practicing underhand flips and turning double plays
- Learning how to defend against stolen bases
- Building clear infield/outfield communication and priorities
By the end of the program, players in the Upperclassmen tier will demonstrate confidence, coordination, and a growing mastery of game strategy. They’ll not only know what to do, they’ll understand why and when to do it.
We’re developing smart, skilled players who are ready to lead and compete.
